Jeep Extended Warranty Coverage by Mopar®

As one of the many car brands under the Stellantis umbrella, Jeep extended warranties are covered by Mopar®. This means that the best place to buy a Jeep extended warranty is either with us in Tacoma, or online through the Mopar® website. The most popular plans are divided into four categories: New Vehicles, Pre-Owned, Lease, and All Vehicles. We’ll focus on New Vehicles here, but you shouldn’t hesitate to contact our finance center if you want to learn more about the others. 

New Vehicle Coverage by Mopar®

New Vehicle Protection plans include comprehensive Maximum Care, Added Care Plus, and Guaranteed Automotive Protection (GAP). Check them out below, and contact our dealership for additional details regarding eligibility and restrictions. 

Maximum Care

Maximum Care provides comprehensive coverage for 5,000+ components for up to 8 years and 125,000 miles, and you can choose your deductible ($200, $100, or $0). It includes numerous other benefits, too: 

• $35 first-day rental 
• $35/day car rental allowance 
• $100 towing allowance
• $100 roadside assistance
• $600 key fob repair/replacement 
• $1,000 trip interruption

To be eligible for Maximum Care, your Jeep vehicle needs to be covered by a 5-year/60,000-mile Powertrain Warranty, and you need to be within 36 months of the in-service date and 36,000 miles. 

Can you buy a Jeep extended warranty later? Absolutely! All DuPont Jeep drivers can purchase New Vehicle Plans, including Maximum Care, anytime within 3 years or 36,000 miles of their vehicle’s warranty start date. This is typically the date you received your Jeep. 

Finally, while you can choose your deductible, the Jeep extended warranty cost for a plan like Maximum Care varies based on many factors, so please visit our dealership and speak with us for the most accurate and up-to-date pricing information. 

Added Care Plus

Added Care Plus extends powertrain and component coverage for 850+ components. Eligibility criteria are the same as those shown above for Maximum Care, as are many of the included benefits and deductible amounts. You can learn more by calling us at 253-201-7849. 

You can choose to get Added Care Plus coverage for 5 to 8 years, and under the following mileage terms:

• 60,000 miles
• 75,000 miles
• 85,000 miles
• 100,000 miles
• 125,000 miles
• 150,000 miles

Guaranteed Automotive Protection (GAP)

In the case of a total loss, Guaranteed Automotive Protection, or GAP, makes up for automotive insurance shortfalls by “bridging the financial gap” between what you still owe on your car and how much your automotive insurance will pay. Here’s a summary of what this coverage will provide for eligible Puyallup drivers: 

• Waives up to $50,000 of the “gap” due to a covered total loss
• Covers your primary insurance deductible up to $1,000
• Covers the amount financed up to 150% of the vehicle’s MSRP/NADA value
• Covers vehicle finance agreement terms up to 84 months

GAP may be a good choice if you’ve financed or leased your vehicle, your down payment was less than 20%, or if you elected for long-term financing. Check with our finance center to see if GAP is right for you.
